Every birth is different, and the birth you want is your choice. Whether you’re planning a home birth, a hospital birth, a birth centre or a caesarean, I’m here to support you, advocate for your wishes and signpost you to the information and services you need to feel confident in your decisions.
I support you and your birthing partner, because a partner who feels informed and included makes a real difference to how a birth feels for everyone.
How I support you
Calm, judgement-free support. There’s no “right” way to birth. My role is to help you explore your options, understand them and feel heard, whatever you decide.
Support for your partner too. I’ll help them know how to support you, offer ideas for comfort and encouragement, and make sure they’re looked after as well.
Advocacy and signposting. I’ll help you voice your preferences and point you to evidence-based information, but the decisions always stay with you and your care team.
Continuous support in labour. Once you’re in labour, I’ll be with you, practically and emotionally, from early labour through to your baby’s arrival and the first hours afterwards.
What’s included in the birth package
Two personal antenatal sessions. Time to talk through your hopes, your options and your questions, shaped around you, your partner and the birth you want.
On-call support, day and night, from 10 days before your due date until 43 weeks, so you know I’m ready when you are.
With you within 90 minutes of your call. Once you ask me to come, I’ll be there within 90 minutes and stay until your baby has arrived and you’re settled.
One 90-minute postnatal session in the first two weeks, to talk through your birth, support you with feeding and recovery, and answer questions.
Six weeks of WhatsApp support after your baby arrives, for the questions that crop up once the dust settles.
